Terms of service

Last updated 30 August 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using TinyLink ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service. If you are using it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

2. The service

TinyLink shortens URLs, records click statistics for those links, generates QR codes, and hosts simple "link in bio" pages. It is provided free of charge and without any guarantee of availability.

3. Your account

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to create, host or distribute links to:

You also agree not to:

You keep ownership of the destinations you link to and anything you put on a bio page. You are solely responsible for that content, and you confirm you have the right to share it.

We do not review links before they are created. We may remove any link or page that breaks these terms, and we will act on credible abuse reports.

Short links are permanent by nature — people bookmark and reshare them. Deleting a link frees its slug, which means it could later be reissued to someone else. Delete with that in mind.

6. API use and rate limits

The API is limited to 120 requests per minute per key by default. Exceeding it returns 429 Too Many Requests with a Retry-After header; please respect it. Do not attempt to work around limits by rotating keys or accounts.

API responses may change in backwards-compatible ways without notice — new fields may be added. Breaking changes will go behind a new version prefix.

7. Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is" with no uptime commitment. It may be unavailable for maintenance, and features may be added, changed or removed at any time. Where a change would break existing links, reasonable effort will be made to avoid it.

8. Suspension and termination

Accounts that break these terms may be suspended or removed, with or without notice depending on severity. You can stop using the service at any time; deleting your account removes your links, pages and their click history permanently.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators of this service are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the service — including links that stop resolving, statistics that are lost, or downtime.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The "last updated" date at the top will change when they do, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be highlighted on the site where practical.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms can go to the address on the contact page. See also the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
